Hey everyone,,, after I update my Google nexus s to Android 4.0 some of my apps are missing I can see them in all apps in setting but I cant find them in search button..I had tags app that I was saving some of my info there andafter upgrade I can't find my apps ..if anyone can help me that will be great thanks ...

Since my update to 4.0 my phone now restarts all by itself! it even restarted three time on separate phone calls! cud somebody look into this.......... it just a while ago before i post this restarted by itself

The results seem to vary for lot of people. But if you check out xda devs then you will find a dedicated thread about the Android 4.0 Nexus S performance problems with hundreds of entries. The battery consumption bug even got an bugfix update, as Google stopped the initial Android 4.0 rollout for the nexus s some months ago.

wow i highly disagree with the
Verdict, for one this is the 1st time i saw or heard ANYONE liking the looks of win7 phones .. at best they scary but definitively not "best looking", and i just upgraded from 2.4 to 4.04 and its far far far faster now then it was with 2.4, same for the power consumption mine DROPPED after the update, and not the other way around .. there must be something wrong with

HTC Sense is havinng one Problem which Vanila Andoid doesn't have.it
If you have two contacts with number like e.g. 9822012345 & another with 9422012345 then it gets grouped together and you can not predict where your reply to message will be. If you desire to send to one person it may go to another person. I logged the complaint to HTC, India. HTC people doesn't accept that problem is in HTC customization of Andoid. Even I shown them that such problem doesn't occur in Motorola Phones with Andoid. So be careful in such case if one person is Male and another is Female then be cautious.. Hope HTC will solve it ????????????

I love my nexus one! Got it in 2010 been using it ever since. Everything still works perfectly. Best phone to this day. Only wish I could get it in 4g.

Sense 3.0 provides a "Screen Shot" feature for my cell (HTC DHD).
Hold down the power button and touch the Home icon screen capture image will be taken and store in the camera folder. You can open it in gallery. Give it a try.

I don't use SMS that frequently but until now I didn't have any problems with notifications.

Did you experience sms notifications being skipped occasionally? Had this a couple of times but so far wasn't able to find similar reports in the web.

Need to cover some of the SIMPLE basics that the review totally skips.
Like, the WORST speaker in the history of any cell phone I have ever had that gave a speaker option!
When texting, if a text comes from the same person you are currently typing to, it removes the keyboard screen..and you have to bring it back up.
It is a battery HOG playing any game. Barely goes 24 hrs charged not doing anything.

So, though I like the UI pretty good and all that fancy stuff..
There are lousy ringtones and too few wallpapers and themes.

Yet there's this quetion bugging me for a while..
at previous of htc devices let say like htc desire hd there's a list of senses that device has, souch as louder ring when in a bag , peek view for mp navigation etc. How about for htc sensation?
Is it having all that senses?

My mistake in buying a WM7.5 , very disappointed with lack of sync options with the pc directly. Hate the way MS is pushing the users to use could and zune. Very disappointed. My phone is is Dell venue pro with mango.

Well , I made a mistake buying a wm7.5 dvp phone... The WM7.5 is a very big let down,,, it seems to be focusing on entertainment and forcing users to use cloud.

I was totally disappointed to find there was no sycn option to the pc... This is very fundamental

Yes, I think you are 100% right. One of the biggest drawbacks of HTC Sense is that it overdoes the whole eye candy thing. Sometimes less animation is more. Weather animations is also another example.

I have experience with HTC only but must say that there are some thing I don't like. One example is that when I unlock the phone, rotation transition effect brings me to home screen. This may be nice at first but now I am getting quite irritated that I have to wait for some stupid animation to start working with the phone.
Another annoying "feature" is in Contacts - HTC searches on some subset of contact fields. For example you cannot search in company field which is a bit frustrating if you search for a guy and don't remember his name but you know where he works.
